Our Studio Policies |  The Good to Know

​

Once a routine is taught at the studio, it becomes the property of Melody's Dance Studio and can only be performed/competed under the Melody's Dance Studio name. In other words, any dancer who learns a routine while a student of MDS taught by either a staff member or guest choreographer, can only perform that dance as a student of MDS. If the student should leave Melody's Dance Studio, they ARE NOT ALLOWED to perform/compete the dance as an independent at ANY TYPE OF SHOWCASE/COMPETITION/CONVENTION or theater show.

Attached below you will find a Copy of the Liability Waiver signed upon registration.

Students of Melody's Dance Studio (MDS) may have the opportunity to be photographed or video taped at various dance events. These photos or videos may be included for publications or advertisements, including on our website, Youtube and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) To ensure privacy, specific names of children will not be included. No financial compensation shall be given for use of any photographs or videos. Once you registerer into classes, you are acknowledging that Melody's Dance Studio may choose to use your photo or video at any time, and may do so at its own discretion at a later date. Melody's Dance Studio also reserves the right to discontinue use of photos or video without notice. Upon your registration, you agree that you have read this release and understand its contents and you consent to and authorize the use by MDS, or anyone authorized by MDS, of any and all photographs or videos which have been taken of your child/children.

Tuition

& Refund Policy

  • Tuition for registration month is due upon registration. All future payments will be due by the 1st of the Month.

  • Payments made after the 10th of the month are subject to a $10 Late Fee. With the exception of New Registrations.

  • We accept payment through autopay via the parent portal, checks, and cash. Please call the studio for details. 

​

  • Tuition is due and payable in full each month whether the student has attended all scheduled classes or not. 

​

  • If you pay for classes that you do not attend for any reason other than a teacher absence, or drop a class in the middle of the month, tuition fees will not be refunded for any reason for that month.

​

  • In the case that a teacher was absent and was not able to obtain coverage, a Make-up Class will be offered in substitution.

  • There will be no Pro Rating of Tuition for any studio-wide observed holidays. 

 | Tuition is Non-Refundable once payment received. | 

Only will be refunded or credited to the students account for injury or a hospitalized illness occurs to not allow the student to take class(s). Anything other may be up to Studio Directors' Discretion.
